Comparison Pages Agent Skill
Find the comparison searches worth winning, fact-check competitors against their own pricing pages, and write honest comparison pages that rank and get quoted by AI assistants.
/comparison-pagesThe Comparison Pages Agent Skill turns searches like "[competitor] alternative" and "[competitor] vs [your brand]" into a small set of pages that deserve to rank. People who search those are close to buying, and AI assistants quote pages like these when buyers ask which tool to pick.
Your agent finds the comparison searches with real demand, checks who ranks for them today, and picks three to five that a well-made page can win. It then checks every competitor price and limit against the vendor's own pages, writes each page with an honest account of when the competitor is the better pick, and publishes, submits and tracks them.
What this skill helps your agent do
- Score comparison and alternative searches by volume, difficulty and intent, including the ones already in your Search Console.
- Read who ranks today, and skip searches that only the competitor's own pages can win.
- Fact-check competitor prices, plans and limits on their own pricing and docs pages, with the date checked.
- Write each page with a price table, what each plan includes, a worked monthly cost, where the competitor wins, where you win, how to switch, and an FAQ.
- Add the structured data, internal links, sitemap entries and
llms.txtsummary that help search engines and AI assistants read the pages. - Submit the new pages through IndexNow, and track their searches and the matching AI questions.
When to use it
Use this skill when buyers compare you with a better-known competitor, when you want to rank for a competitor's name, or when AI assistants recommend competitors instead of you. It pairs well with AI Visibility, which shows the questions where you're missing, and Link Prospecting, which gets you onto the independent comparison lists that already rank.
What you get back
Three to five finished pages, published if your agent can edit your site or as ready-to-paste drafts if not, plus a saved report: the searches each page targets, the facts it relies on with sources and dates, what was submitted for indexing, and what's being tracked.
How to get the best result
- Save your competitors and positioning to project context first, or let the skill ask.
- Connect Google Search Console, so the skill can see which competitor names people already find you for.
- Give your agent web access, so it can check competitor prices on their own pages. Without it, competitor figures are marked unverified and kept out of the pages.
- Let your agent edit your site if you're comfortable with it. It asks before anything goes live.
Costs
Search Console, IndexNow and project context are free. Scoring candidate searches and checking who ranks costs a few cents. Rank tracking and AI visibility tracking are optional, and the agent shows their cost and waits for your approval first.
Use it with PandaCrawl MCP
Set up PandaCrawl MCP so your agent can score searches, read live search results, submit pages for indexing and set up tracking.
