Why do I need my own DataForSEO key?
Because that is the honest way to sell this once. Search data costs real money per request, so any tool charging a flat monthly fee is either capping you quietly or pricing in the heaviest user in the room. Your key means you pay the data provider directly, at their published rates, and we never sit in the middle taking a margin on your curiosity.
So what does the data actually cost?
Whatever DataForSEO charges — typically fractions of a cent per request. A working month of keyword research, a tracked set of terms and a site audit or two lands well under what a single month of a mainstream SEO subscription costs. You top up your own balance and watch it drain slowly.
What happens if I stop paying?
Nothing, because there is nothing to stop paying. The licence does not expire. If your DataForSEO balance runs out, the app keeps working and simply cannot fetch new data until you top it up.
Is this just a wrapper?
